FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is there an age cut-off? We welcome all students over the age of 18 — there is no age cutoff! If you’re concerned about your age or your position in school/your career, please feel free to email our Education Coordinator, Brenna Wiinanen, (education@wintergreenmusic.org) to see if the program is right for you. 

Can pre-formed ensembles apply? Yes! We are accepting applications from pre-formed string and wind ensembles. However, please keep in mind that our program also includes cross-collaborative chamber music. Therefore, pre-formed groups will also be split into other chamber groups throughout the program. This will include working with students in disciplines such as strings, winds, voice and piano. 

Will I be able to choose my private instructor? We make the final decisions on private lesson instructors, however we will do our best to honor any requests you may have. If you would like to work with a specific instructor, please email our Education Coordinator, Brenna Wiinanen, (education@wintergreenmusic.org) with your request.
