We need your support : The 2008-09 Annual Fund

WPA is on the move, and we need your support. It won't be long until the 2009 Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy begins. Please consider making a gift to Wintergreen Performing Arts. As a charitable organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

October 1st is always an important day for Wintergreen Performing Arts. It marks the start of the new fiscal year. With an approved (and balanced) budget in place, the organization begins the process of finding all of the money that will be needed to mount the upcoming season. Our FY09 budget totals $673,000.

Ticket sales, while extremely important, cover a relatively small percentage of WPA's overall budget. The bulk of the funds come from individuals, corporations and foundations.

WPA could not exist without the many Individuals who contribute to WPA's Annual Fund. Please become a part of the excitement. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Consider becoming a Circle Member with a gift of $1,000 or more. Circle Members enjoy special benefits, including unique opportunities to attend rehearsals and mix with guest artists and members of the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra. Baton Circle Members (those who give $5,000 or more) will be invited to an exclusive Baton Circle Members' Party during the 2009 WSMF.

Wintergreen Performing Arts presents the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy each summer. The 2009 Festival will take place from July 6-August 2 in Wintergreen, Virginia on the crest of the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition, WPA has programming throughout the year. We encourage you to spend a few minutes getting to know us.
