Fiery Fridays: 14th Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Music Fest, Starring Love Canon

This year, we are revamping our annual celebration of all things bluegrass. We begin on Friday evening with an exciting show by Charlottesville’s Love Canon – a band that combines the great hits of the 80s and 90s with a mountain music sensibility. Then, stick around for Saturday morning when we pepper the Resort with traditional Appalachian music, fun for the entire family. Come early for a discount off dinner at the Edge and then head to the Dunlop for beverages and music.

Saturday, July 20; Family-friendly events in the Mountain Inn lobby:

10:00 am: Bluegrass Dulcimer demonstration with Damian Muller, first place winner of the Maury River fiddler's convention mountain dulcimer division. Get up close and personal with this most Appalachian of instruments.

11:00 am: The Virginia Ramblers fill the newly renovated Mountain Inn lobby with some mountain musical stylings. 

1:30 pm: Damian Muller returns for some pickin' and singin', with an hour of intimate bluegrass-meets-singer-songwriter entertainment.
