Robert Shaw was the father of American Choral Music. While studying to become a preacher, he fell in with the Fred Waring Glee Club, trained choruses for live radio broadcast, and became an icon that has inspired singers for more than a generation. Come hear Artistic Director Erin Freeman, who sang with Shaw for several years, talk about the legend that is “Mr. Shaw.”
