Your help is needed in order to present a successful Festival. Wintergreen Music would not exist without its dedicated and talented volunteers, in fact, our organization was founded by volunteers! Whether you're interested in volunteering for a specific position, helping out behind the scenes, or hosting an artist in your home during the Festival, there are opportunities for everyone!
Volunteer Activities Include:
Artist hospitality or transportation.
Assist with meals for LEAD Cooperative students.
Special Event planning and/or setup
Festival front of house support (ex. walk-up ticket sales, patron check-in, patron transportation assistance).
Host an event.
Assist with projects and mailings in the WM Office.
Why volunteer?
Your help is needed to make this organization be all it can be. Wintergreen Music could not exist without its dedicated and talented volunteers.
There are jobs for everyone, at every level of commitment. Some volunteers work all year long. Other key players serve at only one event. Wintergreen Music taps into the skills of professionals, but also needs dependable people to "meet, greet, and guide." See the form below for a partial list of specific opportunities or bring your own ideas to us.
It's fun. If your idea of fun is doing something important and useful within the arts, working with talented, interesting, and intelligent individuals of all ages from all over, and doing all of this in and around the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then you've come to the right place.
Get connected. Wintergreen Music brings in a diverse group of individuals and organizations. During the year we'll not only involve every organization in the Wintergreen community, but businesses, government agencies, and other nonprofits from Nelson County, the state, and throughout the nation to help us with our programs.
