In celebration of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birthday, we present an festive evening of song, featuring some of our nation’s finest song-writers, including Stephen Sondheim, George Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Daron Hagen, and of course Bernstein himself.
Jazz, tango, folk, and classical chamber music find their way into one concert, proving once and for all that music invites and unites across centuries, styles, and nations. Featuring Dvorak’s “American” String Quartet and selections from Piazzola’s Estaciones Portenas (“Four Seasons”).
