Sunday, July 31 - Shamokin Springs Nature Preserve Loop

Meet at 9AM at the Wintergreen Nature Foundation and we will drive over to Ravens Roost Park on Laurel Springs Dr. We will hike a short distance down the Old Appalachian Trail (OAT) to the Shomakin Springs Nature Preserve. Enjoy the short loop of the Shamokin Springs Nature Preserve (.3) described in the WTG Hiking Guide as “one of the most unique environments on the mtn.” We will hike back on the OAT to our cars for a total of approximately 1.5 miles. With plenty of time to get to the 11AM Coffee Concert IV: A Boulangerie
