Gilda Lyons: World Premiere
Clara Schumann: Piano Concerto
Beethoven: Symphony No. 2 . . . or No. 8
(You’ll make the choice!)

In this ground-breaking concert, we’ll explore the legacy of females in the history of music. Far from novelties, women have made a substantial impact throughout history. Artistic Director Erin Freeman will lead the orchestra through a world-premiere commission by Wintergreen’s own Gilda Lyons. Pianist Inna Faliks, who made her Chicago Symphony debut on the first movement of Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto, will perform the entire work. And, the orchestra will perform either Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 or No. 8. Who will choose? Well, YOU, of course! Sign up for our e-newsletter and follow us on social media, and you’ll get the chance to be part of choosing our program!
