Wine Tasting with a “Twist”

Michael White Performance Center (map)

$15 at the event

About 200 years ago (March, 20 1815) Napoléon entered Paris unopposed. He installed himself at the Tuileries Palace and assumed control of the government. On June 18, 1815, the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon at the battle of Waterloo in Belgium, ending Napoleon's career. On July 31, 1815 the British government announced Napoléon would be banished to St. Helena. We will celebrate with a British sparkling wine as well as three French wines. "Celebrating this moment in history, we will also be offering martinis with British gin, in honor of the victors, and sour grapes, in honor of wazzisface," the hosts of this event report.
