Coffee & Kids
Introduce your little ones to the joy of music with these specially designed concerts for the young and for the young-at-heart. All Coffee & Kids concerts are family-friendly and take place in the Dunlop Pavilion. Arrive between 10:15 and 11:00 am for coffee and pre-concert activities for the kids.

Find out what happens when you sell your violin for the promise of unending wealth. Featuring Stravinsky’s A Soldier’s Tale trio for Violin, Clarinet, and Piano and Haydn’s Divertissement No. 2 for Flute, Violin, and Cello. Narrated by Susan Messersmith and Erin Freeman.
A Norwegian tale about three goats, a troll, and (of course) a bridge comes to life in the music of James Scott Balentine. We’ll also explore music of two Norwegian composers: Ola Gjeillo and Edvard Grieg.
There’s something in Bruce Adolphe’s Little Red Riding Hood for everyone – grandmothers, grandchildren, and even wolves! Paired with songs written and performed by our talented Academy students.
