Celebrate Your Creativity in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains

The Wintergreen Summer Music Academy (WSMA) is a four-week program that enables talented young instrumentalists and composers to spend time in the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and work with an extraordinary group of professional musicians. The program consists of private lessons, chamber music coachings, seminars and performance opportunities. In addition, the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival is filled with concerts, lectures, theatre performances, dance performances and other events that Academy students are able to attend.

The 2010 Academy will begin on Monday, July 5th, and end on Sunday, August 1st.

Click here to see our 2010 poster. Wintergreen is a four-season resort, and housing for the Academy students is on the mountain in the recently constructed Blue Ridge Commons as well as in private homes.
