Wintergreen Resort is the home of the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy. Each summer, guests come to Wintergreen Mountain to enjoy the Festival’s offerings and the Resort’s first-class accommodations and amenities. The 28 days of the Festival are packed with numerous exciting performances and events. At the same time, there are ample recreational activities for people who want to swim, hike, golf or spend time at the Spa. Festival-Related Dining

Music, food and wine . . . a perfect combination! Take advantage of Festival Breakfast Buffets on Saturdays and Sundays at The Copper Mine, and don’t forget Festival Luncheon Specials at Devils Grill each weekday. Enjoy a pre- or après- concert dinner in one of Wintergreen’s fine restaurants, The Copper Mine, Devils Grill, Stoney Creek Bar & Grill or for something casual, The Edge. Kids Programs at Wintergreen Resort (The Treehouse)

While you are enjoying spectacular music, let your kids meet other kids in our Kids in Action program with fun daily themes. Check out Chocolate Day, Gone Fishing Day or Pirates of the Caribbean Day . . . to name just a few. There are great 2-day camps for ages 9-14 (July 11-12: LOST – Lots of Survival Training; July18-19: Rock Climbing; July 25-26: Water Rodeo; August 1-2: Backpacking). Music festivals are for little people, too!

Tuesdays (July 7, 14, 21 and 28) and Thursdays (July 9, 16, 23 and 30) at 10:30 am are special times for the children (ages 2 ½ - 12) participating in the Treehouse program at Wintergreen Resort. On Tuesdays, the children will learn about a variety of musical instruments with students from the Wintergreen Summer Music Academy, and on Thursdays, they will visit rehearsals of the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra or the Academy Chamber Orchestra in the Evans Center. A member of the WSMF staff will serve as the tour guide for the visits to the Evans Center.

These activities are free for children attending the Resort’s Treehouse programs.
