Wintergreen Festival Artists play chamber music by Britten, Ravel, and Mendelssohn that is featured in three stunning movies: Fanny and Alexander, Un Coeur en Hiver, and The Age of Innocence. This vibrant music will bring to mind the lush sets and dramatic story lines of the silver-screen gems.
Our third annual movie night, this year featuring TWO films with world-premiere scores played by Wintergreen Festival Artists: The Vagabond (music by the Academy composition students) and A Dog’s Life (music by Daron Hagen)
Haydn’s Concerto for Two Horns, featuring Wallace Easter, III with his father, Wally Easter; Alyssa Morris’s Up and Away, featuring Joey Kluesener on bassoon; and Brahms’ C Major Trio, led by violinist Elizabeth Coulter Vonderheide.
