“Music: Make It Yours!” Explore with Us Seminar IV Honor the History!

With Artistic Director Erin Freeman

By patron request, Artistic Director Freeman will lead four classes on the inner workings of music.  Exploration of notes, rhythms, instruments, and a bit of history will enable experiencing Festival performances, masterclasses, and seminars with enhanced musical confidence.

Today we have a crash course in music history - from monks to Mahler.  Find out about the major time periods and how we got from monastery chant to grand opera.
